My name is John Woods a World Snooker accredited coach based in London.
In my time as a player, I spent several years competing in EASB and World Snooker events including the PIOS, Open Tour, Pro Ticket Tour as well as participating in the World Championship qualifiers on a couple of occasions.
More recently, I have focussed more on coaching and in February 2010 I passed the World Snooker Grade A coaching course at the World Snooker Academy in Sheffield. I have helped players of a wide range of standards, from beginner to century break standard and I can provide coaching in all aspects of the game, including:

- Potting and break building
- Cue ball control
- Shot selection
- Tactics
- Mental approach
